I live and work on the Coffs Coast, NSW, on Gumbaynggirr land.

I am a Women’s Health General Practitioner (GP) with a passion for mind body spirit medicine. I feel honoured to work with women, and to be able to offer more than purely conventional medicine. And I’ve got to say that combining the science and the spirit of medicine feels balanced and right to me.

I want to help women to be well, to heal, to be their best wild and wonderful selves. In their mind and spirit as well as their physical body. Whole woman medicine. Offering Holistic Pelvic Care™ is the beginning.

This important work will be interwoven with my ongoing work as a women’s health GP.

And thus, Sacred Moon Medicine was born… as a wellness practice to empower women in their health and wellbeing. A sacred salve for the feminine spirit.

My Background

I grew up in rural NSW and I have always had big dreams.

I knew I wanted to be a doctor from a young age. I can remember the exact moment. It was in Year 8 English, where we had to journal for 10 minutes at the start of each class. As I looked out the window wondering what to write about, a ray of sun shone in, and I knew. I would be a doctor some day!

And ask anyone who knows me, I never wavered from my dream. But I also never wavered from my love and interest of traditional / alternative / natural therapies and the power of the brain and mind to impact our physical body.

I loved studying Medicine, throwing myself into the science and learning, learning, learning. I especially loved my placements in rural and remote NSW. I was living my dream! I worked in hospitals and then became a rural GP. I love general practice, supporting and helping people through the ages, caring for families, meeting new generations.

But a refinement of my dream was bubbling away in the background. A passion for working with women, supporting them to heal and to reach their full potential.

And so, all these years later, I’ve come to the start of my sacred journey to become the culmination of my childhood dreams… of being a real-life Medicine Woman. A healer for women.

So, here I am, still learning (I never want to stop learning!) and adding to my bag of remedies for your feminine body and soul.
